January 2023 - Mortlach

We started the year off strong, by inviting our very own Charlotte to take the floor!

She brought us a selection of Mortlachs, a gorgeous Speyside scotch that is described as the ‘Beast of Dufftown’. We tried the 12 and 16 year old expressions, before moving on to the 20 year old - dreamy!

Chatting through all sorts of weird and wonderful tasting notes, as well as attempting to get our head’s around the fact that Mortlach is 2.81 times distilled, we had a wonderful evening as per usual.
